This weekend marks one of our featured brides, Alana’s big day. She, along with her husband-to-be, Michael, have chosen Wilson Vineyards in Clarksburg, CA as their dream day venue. Initially Alana had big plans to make her wedding a DIY wedding done all by herself, but soon realized that help was necessary to make all her visions and ideas come to life. Enter, Ramona and Simple Country Weddings. In the SCW showroom, Alana found each and every DIY project she wanted to create and at a super low cost! While many visualize a country wedding simply being an event that happens on a farm, Alana looked beyond the typical and decided on a more elegant feel with grape vines as the backdrop of what is sure to be an amazingly beautiful wedding, with wine barrels located in their natural setting.
As you may recall, Alana and Michael are an online love success story; so taking chances and putting herself out there, is nothing new to Alana by any means. Essentially handing over her DIY projects to Ramona to make her “once in a lifetime” day come true as she has dreamed up in her head is a big step, but one that should come with a sense of relief and ease for someone like Alana who appears to be risk taking and easygoing, given how she and Michael first met. With the classic ambiance of what Wilson Vineyards has to offer, mixed in with SCW’s country chic, vintage inspirations, Alana’s big day is certain to be a memorable reflection of her and Michael, individually… and as Mr. and Mrs.
